Wrong - O - Scope Revisited

OK. This is really freaky.

I told Lucy all about the wrongoscope, even forwarded it to her this morning, and now I'm eating my words.

Fucking www.Astrology.com and its daily horoscope is scarey!

I returned from lunch at 2 PM and at 2:30 I received a message...

From Arthur!

He said that he's been very busy at work and was sorry he's been out of touch. He said, "maybe we could get dinner sometime."

I'm so freaked out that I write him back immediately and ask him how he's been, etc.

However, I don't respond to his indirect request for an audience.

The last I heard from him, was in July. I wrote to Arthur in May and told him I'd been seeing someone I liked for a few months (Arty -- I know it's confusing). I told him I could meet him for sex and hanging out, but that I couldn't be monogamous. He didn't write back.

When I wrote to him in June and told him that I'd parted ways because Arty was dishonest (I didn't tell him all the details), Arthur wrote back immediately and thanked me for the reply.

My message to him was pleasant, but a little tepid. I do care for him beyond my own romantic thoughts for him, but I'd rather not sit down to dinner with him and hear all about his wonderful new boyfriend. But I also know how he is. If he's been with this guy since June, then everything I'll be hearing about will be what he's been doing with the new guy.

Ah, well. I'm sure I'll do it, I'm just not rushing to it in the first day of renewed contact.
