Cards on the Table -- A Prediction Comes True

Today I got an email from Arthur. I wrote him a long email that weekend. I wrote quite a bit about what I want out of a relationship, etc. and how I could see us together.

The subject line of my messages was, "All my cards on the table."

His message was, "My cards are on the table."

My message was a three page letter. His was two lines. He wrote that he wanted all the things I wanted, but had a problem that really bugged him but it wasn't big and he thought it shouldn't stop us from being together.

I thought of what Nancy said. I decided to make him wait. Maybe I'll write back to him tomorrow or the next day.
